mustache party

i know the mustache theme is everywhere right now (even at weddings) but i just love this idea for a party thrown for a guy-birthday? father's day?

cupcake toppers-so easy
send invitations out early, saying there will be a prize for the best mustache (real or fake). encourage your husband to go for the fake ;)
gift bags. of course.

they had a mustache candy mold on ebay yesterday for $3.oo. you could have a small table set up with bags for guests to fill up and take home. love the sign on the drink dispenser.

this can easily be done with glass craft paint. i've seen it on clear glass cups and it looks so cute! these can also be added to the gift bags.
this cake is made by baking a round cake and cutting it in a curvy "s" shape and flipping one side around and frosting. easy and adorable! see pic below.

lego party

i think any boy would go nuts over this lego inspired party!

lego candy-haggens always carries these. these would be cute as cupcake toppers as well.


lego head cake pops-what kind of candy do you think they have on top to create that bump?

you can find these lego guy candy molds on ebay for about $20 and brick lego molds for about $15. i would definately have to do these in milk chocolate.

color scheme: yellow, white, green and blue

gift bags, time playing lego, pin the head on the lego guy. that's about all it would need. simple decorations and very little preparation. perfect
